The project involved a variety of Facility Solutions, including the installation of over 800 power sockets and 600 data points as part of our building conversion efforts. Sports & Social Building Conversion

Project Overview

We successfully managed and delivered the complete building conversion project of a redundant sports and social building into a modern, high-performance office environment that supports both collaborative and private working. This project management effort resulted in a facility that includes: 6 private offices, 2 modern conference rooms, an open-plan office space with 50 workstations, upgraded mechanical and electrical infrastructure installation, and a fully integrated Building Management System (BMS).

The Challenge

The existing building infrastructure was outdated and no longer suitable for modern commercial use. Key challenges included: replacing an obsolete fire alarm system, removing an ageing oil-fed boiler system, upgrading HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency, and integrating new plant and controls into a centralised BMS. Effective project management was essential to deliver the building conversion safely and efficiently under CDM regulations. The client required a future-proof workspace that enhanced operational efficiency, occupant comfort, and sustainability while maximising the use of the existing structure.
